MOJO Magazine Front Cover Deconstruction

MOJO is one of the music magazines I am looking at to learn from and gain inspiration from for when it comes to making my magazine. The front cover shows lots of different sized fonts including San serif to draw the reader in, along with a free CD of Pink Floyd which links in with the Classical Rock genre. The page is very busy and cluttered, which would help to convince the reader that they are getting a lot for their money as a lot of information is on the front telling you what's inside. It has three main colours; blue, white and red which are also manly colours which suggests that it is aimed at a male audience. There is one main image that is the lead singer of the ‘Foo Fighters’  and taken as a mid-shot, he is also looking at you so is a direct mode of address, which makes the buyer more involved.
